RideOn is a technology company that is developing, and planning to produce, eyewear for outdoor action sports that are equipped with optical head-mounted displays for augmented reality (AR) applications. The company's first product are ski goggles that also contain a high-definition video camera. The company raised $113,146 USD in contributions through crowdfunding website Indiegogo in February and March 2015.〔(【引用サイトリンク】title=RideOn Vision Goggle Enhances Reality on the Slopes )〕 ==History== RideOn was founded in 2013 by software engineer Alon Getz and computer programmer Ori Kotek who, since 2002, had been developing AR systems in the aerospace industry. Coupled with their enthusiasm for skiing and snowboarding, they incorporated technologies in computing, sensors, and optical displays to help build their first product. In January 2015 the company launched its AR ski goggles on Indiegogo, asking for support of their campaign and offering pre-orders of their product as rewards.
